We have added some cool applications to our directory this week:
Newsmap
An application that visually reflects the constantly changing landscape of the Google News news aggregator. The enormous amount of information is divided into quickly recognizable bands, revealing underlying patterns in news reporting across cultures. We always beleived it looks good in a netbook, so here it is.

EyeOS
EyeOS is an open-source browser based web desktop for companies and schools. Its directory of default and customised applications help to manage resources and work collaboratively.

Etherpad
‘The most frictionless way to get people on the same page’, Etherpad is a web-based word processor build by former google employees that allows people to work together in (really) real-time.

Electronic Music Guide
This has been a long time classic for all electronic music lovers. The interactive map of all subgenres and beats. Just click listen and enjoy next time you open your netbook

Thinking Space
A slick experiential site by The Economist which offers to explore the ‘Thinking Space’ of various opinion leaders from around Europe. Check out their favorite websites, articles on The Economist and music playlists on Spotify.

Gaza Sderot
A documentary project reporting on life as experienced by men, women and children in Gaza in Palestine, and Sderot in Israel: Users have a non-linear access to short chronicles that follow the day-to-day lives and survival of six characters in Gaza and six in Sderot.

And there’s more! We have also added some new games check Ikariam and Tribal Wars, Poulaga Challenge and JamLegend.
We are improving our essential application list with music services Jamendo, and Fizy, social networking sites Behance and Orkut, task management tool Remember The Milk (offline support included!), online presentation tool Empressr, graphics editor SumoPaint.
And by the way last time we forgot to announce that we included USA Today experimental Newsdeck, the award winning note taking tool Evernote, and travel organizer tool Tripit!
Enjoy!

Let’s go,to the invite ??
Looking forward to check out this cool apps when I get my invitation code for jolicloud
Don’t forget you can try any of these “apps” just by clicking the links on this page. Jolicloud doesn’t change them at all, it just makes a nice bookmark for you.
when I suscribe to a new appli, is not easy to find it later in “my jolicloud”. Would be useful to have a “NEW APPLIS” option like Favorite, Internet…
No point posting all the new apps when the invites are not given out at all.
