Some new cool apps in our directory this week:
Swingvine is a hybrid of an aggregator of information on pop culture and an analytics site that measures what people are looking for on the web. There are lots of sites out there trying to tell you what’s hot online at any given time, but SwingVine aims to make sense of it, has a nice interface, and works in real time. SwingVine also connects with Facebook so the social trends are based on your friends’ engagement with any given topic.

Whatthetrend is a site to see what’s trending on Twitter and why. Quick explanations for each trend are edited by users.
Now that Twitter lists are available to all users, new services are helping you find, index, and edit lists that are relevant to you. ListAtlas presents the most popular Twitter lists, ranked by numbers of followers. Every list page includes a widget to give you a preview. You can leave a comment or click on the Twitter link to follow the list.

Listorious is another site to help you find the best lists of Twitter users on any given topic, and for list creators to publicize their lists.
New app Bettween lets you visualize conversations between two specific Twitter users.
We’ve also added Mockingbird, a wireframing tool to create, link together, preview, and share mockups of your website, Tasck, a minimal to do list, and mindmapping tool Dropmind.
Shorts Bay serves short film pleasure for free. There are dozens of interesting shorts in the collection, which you can browse by duration, country or category. Featuring in the top list today is Claude Lelouch 1976’ experimental ‘C’etait un Rendez-vous’, shot with a camera mounted on a Ferrari racing through the streets of Paris.

Documentary Film.net has a number or controversial documentaries in its archive, most of which were never shown on television. Break is an entertainment destination and community specially targeted at ‘guys 18-34′.
MyOats is a new drawing tool that lets you create kaleidoscopic designs, but is not limited to that style: you can draw anything. Members of the MyOats community can create portfolios, download and rank each other’s art.

Stock photography search engine Cyclo.ps aggregates results from popular sites to help save time finding the image you are after.
Hasbro, the company behind Trivial Pursuit, has pitted men against women in an online challenge to see just who is smarter. Anyone can participate. Just enter your name, sex and date of birth. Each question you answer correctly will earn a point for your team.

Enjoy!

I’ll hold out for TweetDeck, thanks! ; )
