Jolicloud Netbook Compatibility List Updated

Jolicloud Netbook

Our list of compatible devices is growing. A big thank you to our users who have contributed by adding new netbook models on our dedicated Wiki page. Please check the list below for the latest additions to our official list of compatible devices.

If your netbook appears on our official list it means that we have extensively tested it and that Jolicloud supports your machine. See the complete list of supported netbooks here.

If your netbook does not show up on the list, don’t worry, it’s probably just because we haven’t had a chance to properly test it yet. We are trying our best to get Jolicloud to support as many netbook models as possible, but we are still to get our hands on some international models.

So please bear with us, and in the mean time check the second list, which includes netbooks that are most likely to work, and will be added to the official list once we have conducted all the necessary testing.

And don’t forget: more netbooks will be supported as part of our upcoming release.

Apparently the hp mini 110 is supported. I dont have any major issues with jolicloud apart from the home screen being unbelievably slow and unresponsive. I wouldnt exactly call it a “supported” netbook.

Louis,

Contact us at feedback@jolicloud.com; I developed the kernel using an HP Mini 110, and its working great for me.

There was an issue a few months ago where the display in the main screen was very slow, but it has since been resolved with a software update. Can you confirm that your system is up-to-date?

Been running Jolicloud on my Toshiba Satellite A2005-S5000 for a few days. Its going pretty well!

If it keeps up, I’m thinking to completely dump Vista and move to JoliCloud

Dear Jolicloud team,
will your release support the “ONE A120″ Netbook?
If not, is there any way to install the correct drivers?
(Because I have already tried jolicloud and it’s kinda slow on my netbook…)

Running on a Toshiba Satellite A300D - 18A.

Almost everything works fine, but I have no support for multiple CPU frequencies (I think that’s what it said) and my “Home” page is slow as hell. I mean REALLY annoying slow. Everything else works smoothly. I reckon it’s because it doesn’t have the propper video drivers installed. I get the update diag box, I press “ok” but it doesn’t update them.

Guess I’ll wait for a later build…

Keep up the great work chaps! I’ll spread it as well and far as I can!
