Living Stories
The New York Times and The Washington Post have been working with Google on an innovative news site that combines new ways to interact with news and quality reporting. Living Stories offers everything there is to know about current top stories, from updates to people, photos and graphs, unified on a single dynamic page. The site also calls your attention to changes in the story since you last viewed it.

TeuxDeux
Created by FictiveKin in collaboration with SwissMiss, TeuxDeux is a simple, good-looking, to-do application designed around users’ personal work-flow and preferences. It lets you see the week you’re on: Days in the past are light grey, the actual day is red and days in the future are black. Items that you didn’t take care of ‘today’ will automatically be moved to the next day. You can also check items off, and put new ideas in the ’someday’ section.

Qapture offers insight into some of the most interesting people on Twitter, sharing the links that capture what’s on their minds right now. We’ve also added UberVu, a site to follow conversations across social media sites, Friendbinder, a service that brings together your friends from various social networks, Filebox, which allows you to store, share and publish your media, and Wordr, a Twitter clone where you can post only one word at a time.
Plurk is another micro-blogging platform using 140 character updates, or plurks, which then appear on a timeline showing all the updates from your network. LiveFyre brigns another twist to real time conversations with an interface that lets you start and follow a fyre (or conversation thread) about your topic of choice.
Audacity
This week we are adding audio editor Audacity, which succeeds at being both feature-rich and flexible, while keeping the workspace uncluttered. Audacity is perfect for recording audio, convert audio files, cut, copy, splice or mix sounds together.

Pictory
Pictory is an online magazine focused on documentary and culture. It gives users the chance to contribute their best work to a weekly photo essay, with only one photograph submitted at a time. after receiving the submissions, the editor chooses between 20-40 entries to create the final product.

22tracks
22tracks is a jukebox consisting of 22 playlists in different genres, each filled with 22 tracks, selected by specialized DJ’s from Amsterdam.

NBC Video Library allows US users to browse and watch selected shows online in their entirety. In the UK, the BBC Music Beta project explores the connections between over 400,000 music artists who are played on BBC radio stations. Whosampled is a site that allows users to explore the origins of their favorite songs by discovering direct links between over 18,000 songs and 8,000 artists.
On Jolicloud you can now have a game of mahjong, or play with a new sliding-tile puzzle game called Continuity Game.
