The latest additions to our app directory:
Action Method
Created by the founders of the Behance Network, Action Method is a feature-rich, fully functional and visually pleasing project management program. All your items are organized by project. You can create, delegate and track progress, manage your action steps by priority, due date or any system that works for you. Other features include contextual references, discussions, events and activity feeds. The Action Method iPhone app is free on the Apple app store.

Also in the office category this week: Zoho Calendar, task manager ReddyNote, project and time tracker 1DayLater, and LaterBro, a dead simple app to schedule tweets and Facebook messages.
Citrify
A worthy addition to the existing line-up of free online photo editing tools, Citrify lets you apply cool effects to your images, such as Sketch and Watercolor. The app includes a number of touch-up tools, like a wrinkle smoother or a whitening toothbrush. You can also quickly adjust brightness, contrast, hue saturation, size, and orientation.

Big Think
Founded on the belief that expertise is invaluable and should be shared, Big Think is a global idea forum with over 600 expert video interviews, from hedge-fund managers to anthropologists, media moguls and neuroscientists. These interviews are searchable by topic or expert. Users can respond by posting their own videos or questions to experts, creating a conversation in the public sphere.

There is a lot more to watch on Jolicloud: TVGorge is a new video portal for TV shows, Sprword has an impressive collection of controversial documentaries, and Documentary Heaven offers a wealth of documentaries spanning across every genre.
Flixtime
Anyone with images, videos and text can use Flixtime to create, share, and download free 60-second videos. Pick your own images and tunes or choose them from a library of royalty-free media. In 3 quick steps and in about 3 minutes, you will be ready to share the rendered video on Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube.

HSI: Historical Scene Investigation
Created by two academics looking to bring primary sources to the classroom, HSI is a rock star educational site that helps students think beyond dates and times. Like a CSI, kids solve ‘crimes’ using evidence (primary historical documents). The historical investigation lesson plans cover 14 cases, and all of them include a student and teacher view.

We’ve added a bunch of specialized social networking sites, starting with StudiVZ, a popular German student network, and Tuenti, the invitation-only “Spanish Facebook”. Epernicus is especially aimed at research scientists to share scientific profiles and connect with like-minded colleagues. SocialVibe connects people with sponsors to benefit a cause of their choice.
Use Weebly to easily create new blogs and websites, and Wordle to generate cool looking word clouds.
Happy Joliclouding!
