Our selection this week is influenced by requests we received from you. Keep the recommendations coming! Just send us your ideas.
Fotobabble
Fotobabble attaches an audio caption to any image you upload. Simply record your voice directly to your computer to create a talking photo. The service is simple and versatile enough to be useful to individuals or businesses. Users can share their creations across social networks or via email. Fotobabble is also available as an iPhone app.

Livestream
Livestream is one of the most powerful live broadcast platforms. Producers use it to create live, scheduled, and on-demand internet television for free. The site is also recommended to users looking for video content to watch. Following a recent partnership with the AP, Livestream will power all of its live video streams, starting with the video from the red carpet at the Oscars this Sunday.

Following recent requests, we’ve added popular services to the directory, starting with instant messaging services eBuddy and Yahoo Web Messenger. In the office category, PDF Hammer will allow you to edit and export PDF documents. Project management app Doolphy aims to help your organization save time and money. Zoho Mail comes to complete the Zoho suite of apps available on Jolicloud. Finally, Tumblr makes it really easy to post text, images, video, links, quotes and audio.
Spaaze
Spaaze is an infinite corkboard (you can change it to a “grassboard”) to aggregate and hold all the nice stuff you come across online. It doesn’t force your thoughts into a specific structure, but lets you decide how to arrange and group them. You can simply drag videos, labels and notes to re-arrange and resize them with a single click.

Ibis Reader is an eBook reader that syncs between different devices and remembers where you stopped. Store your library online, find new things to read and download any book.
Hitotoki
A literary take on location-based applications, Hitotoki does not feature the gameplay found in Foursquare or Gowalla. As it says on the site: “no check-ins, no bullshit badges”. The project is built to help you capture everyday moments, and its function is to collect stories of singular experiences tied to locations in cities worldwide. Anyone in any city can contribute in any language. There’s no signup and no registration.

TuneGlue
Among the many methods of discovering music, TuneGlue is a fun musical mapping application to visually display relationships, by similarity of music artists. To get started simply enter a musical artist you like in the search field at the top right of the page. From here you’ll click the large black circle, called a node, to get additional menu options. Click “expand” to see artists related to this node.

And of course, as announced yesterday, all these apps will be soon running on top of the Google Chrome engine!
Enjoy!
