Here we are! As of today, everyone has been migrated to Jolicoud 1.0! Users that are downloading the current Jolicloud are automatically upgraded to the new version. The brand new Windows Installer and ISO for the 1.0 are being finalized, and they should be available for download shortly.
What an amazing week! On behalf of the team, I would like to thank all our users for making this migration a success. You’ve been awesome in helping us making sure that the upgrade process was as easy as possible. If you have any trouble upgrading, our support is here to help out, as always.
In just a few weeks, we’ve already improved the performance of the launcher and added a few features that are automatically integrated when you’re connected to the Internet. We’re also improving the system, so you will be asked from time to time to update.
The “Liking” Experiment
As you may have seen, we’ve made some changes to the Stream, making it a more social app-sharing experience. Now, in Jolicloud 1.0, you can “like” apps, which will show up in your Stream. It will also list the app in your “Favorite Apps”. Don’t forget to use this new feature – it’s helpful for other users to figure out what the most popular apps are in our growing App Center.
Some Improvements This Week
We’ve worked hard to make sure that Jolicloud runs on small memory netbooks, and we’ve included a couple new features:
1) You can now see the amount of free space available in your drives, and you’ll get a notice when your drive is almost full.

2) The total number of machines associated with your account is now visible in your Jolicloud profile. You can remove any machine you no longer use in the settings.

As always, feel free to contact us with any questions or comments.
