Do you guys plan to add Google Docs or Drop Box to Jolicloud Me? I love that you have those services integrated into your jolicloud web app and it would be great to have them be supported in Jolicloud Me as well.

Sorry, I’ve tried out the my.jolicloud beta, it’s honestly, kind of a snooze compared to JoliOS. I mean in JoliOS they have the stuff to take on other OS’s that aren’t nearly as compelling in the netbook space. This media convergence thing…bleh, no big deal to be honest. My advice is to continue on the JoliOS 1.3 development stream and abandon this kitschy cloud media-integration thing. Google, Apple are already on it, and it’s not a space worth competing in, better to just integrate with their services and continue making a compelling OS. In JoliOS this team hit a winner, I’d stick to making a clean OS, and keep innovating as with the new Aura UI for ChromeOS, Google is catching up and fixing their prior mistakes that made JoliOS so much better than ChromeOS.

other than jolicloud restore utility and an antivirus , i need something more like a recovery disk to get back data corrupted/lost during virus attack , does jolicloud OS have it ?

As far as I know, their plan back in January (read their January blog entry about the Cloud), was to somehow (they didn’t explain how), update JoliOS users to the new JoliMe.

I’m assuming the functionality of JoliOS will somehow be only available to those with JoliOS installed on their machine, while the social functionality will be available to both the JoliOS users, AND the purely web based users (people who visit me.jolicloud.com, but DON’t have JoliOS installed).

In other words, there will be two groups of people:
1. The people who have JoliOS, and have built in access JoliMe; and
2. The people who don’t have JoliOS, and access JoliMe via their browser on their non JoliOS system.

Just a guess. Google did something similar with Chrome vs. ChromeOS.

I love jolicloud me, and I’m really looking forward to the Android App. Also I’d love to see a possibility to include more than just one Tumblr Account. And Pinterest would be great as well!

First of all i appreciate the team work behind this beutifull OS, I have an issue recently, cannot view youtube vedeos in facebook and even in chorme browser, it asking adobe flashplayer , How can i get adobe flasplayer update. though i am abeginner need your help. please reply

i had a similar fault with no flashplayer and unable to update even following all help and advice to the letter , incuding writing in terminal etc,
eventually sorted it by downloading the firefox app, running flashplayer download through that, installing and then everything worked ok, iplayer etc. delete firefox and all done.
