Announcing Jolicloud 2: A place to call home

by Jolicloud Team

October 24th, 2013

Wow! We are now more than 1 million people using Jolicloud around the world. Thank you so much!

Since our beginnings as an operating system, Jolicloud has worked passionately to make the digital world simpler to use for everyone.
As we spent our days switching between our phones and computers, juggling between multiple services and seeing our data spread across the Internet, we believed something was missing in our lives. A place to call home.
A place where everything that belongs to you is always there. A place that makes all your content simple to access and use. No matter what phone, what computer or what service you have.

Until today, this place didn’t exist. So we decided to build it.

We are very excited to announce Jolicloud 2. Your new home online.

Jolicloud 2 will be available soon, and in November we are throwing a digital housewarming party! We will get back to you soon on how you can get an invitation to the party and become one of the first to use Jolicloud 2. (Or you can just sign up for Jolicloud before 4th of Nov and guarantee your invite.)

Here is a little teaser video we have prepared for you:

Stay tuned…

Happy Joliclouding!

As a Jolidrive user, you can do everything you’ve done before, but with a better design, a more customized experience and a lot of new features.

Jolicloud 2 is about the web service :) but the OS will benefit from it.

a way to stop that “add services” page opening up every time i open the computer would be nice

i hope this will benefit the OS by having some Browser upgrade, and the ability to use the old darker theme again

Logged in after I got you email about the news and the site said that I had new features waiting if I hit a ‘reload’ button next to the message.

Did as asked, but instead of new features all the services I already hade connected disappeared! And they were many, so it would be a lot of work to reconnect them.

Can you please return my account to the state it was in before I hit reload.

The Blog says I can Sign-up for Joilcloud 2 before 4 November and receive an “invitation”. I can’t find a way to sign-up. PLEASE HELP. I am a long-time fan and user of Jolicloud and can’t wait for Jolicloud 2!

Thanks

Teaser? Come on, like you’re in the position of doing so. Stop losing users and give something we can look forward to.

Where is the browser in this new system? There is no browser and I think it renders this system running elusively on its own computer useless. I am going to have to switch out of JoliCloud now.

Are there any here who can tell me where I can download Jolicloud 2.0.0. I can see it is possible to download Jolicloud 1.2.1. Maybe it’s New Year’s fake history.
And so is Joliclouds homesite not user-friendly on my tablet, its jump when I scroll. Never see so bad homesite

Jolicloud 2 is about the web service, which is our focus.

(The OS is “Joli OS” and 1.2.1 is its latest version.)
