Community Manager

Jolicloud is looking for a Community Manager to engage and sustain a vibrant relationship with the community of Jolicloud users. We are looking for somebody with a talent for leveraging social media and offline activities with the aim to dramatically grow the number of Jolicloud users.
Responsibilities
- Engage with Jolicloud users on all our online communities, on blogs and on the web at large. Listen to users and gather their feedback. Identify needs that aren’t being met from the user’s perspective.
- Contribute to the development of Jolicloud’s online marketing and outreach strategies.
- Engage and motivate Jolicloud’s most active online advocates; ensure that their efforts and loyalty are recognized and rewarded.
- Meet up with users, attend events and spread the word about the Jolicloud movement.
- Identify industry influencers, establish relationships, partners and collaborate with them.
- Plan and manage fun, cool and buzz worthy events.
- Communicate user feedback and needs to the product management, engineering, design and user support teams.
- Develop necessary reporting mechanisms to communicate performance to management.
- Respond to crises in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in leveraging social media strategically, social networking, guerilla marketing tactics, and event planning.
- Superior writing skills. Lives to write; writes to live.
- Excellent communication skills.
- English essential.
- Must be able to work autonomously with little guidance.
