Jolicloud is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join the team responsible for the development of the Jolicloud user interface. This team develops and manages all aspects of Jolicloud that touches a web browser and works closely with both the product management and backend engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features for the Jolicloud web applications.
• Enhance existing functionality and performance.
• Work with the Backend Engineers to complete the integration of new applications and services.
• Work with product management to plan and integrate partners services.
• Write code and documentation.
• Debug software issues.
• Assist support engineers to improve support documentation and procedures.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of web technologies notably HTML5, JavaScript, CSS.
• Deep experience designing modular, object-oriented JavaScript.
• User Interface design knowledge.
• Curiosity for playing with new browser technologies and 3rd-party APIs.
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator a plus.
• Minimum 2 years experience.
• BA/BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Solid analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Ability to plan work, execute to plan and meet deadlines within a fast moving and changing environment.
• High energy, motivation and strong team player skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English. French a plus.
